Cheese Puffs

I don’t have exact quantities written for the filling here because it depends in how big your packet of puff pastry is. There are endless combinations of fillings that you can use but I’ve chosen to show the simplest one that I use frequently: cheese and oregano.

Cheese Puffs

Ingredients:
1 Package of puff pastry
Mozzarella cheese, grated
Oregano
1 egg, beaten

Method:

  1. Thaw the package of puff pastry then preheat your oven according to package directions (I had mine at 350°F).
  2. Cut the pastry into squares and fill with some cheese and a sprinkle of oregano.
  3. Seal the edges with the egg and then transfer the pastries to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops of the pastries with some egg and bake for about 12 minutes, until they’re a light golden brown color (or follow your package directions).

These can be served warm or cold!
