7 weeks

Here is another scrapbook page, this one is of a 7 week old baby girl.  I wanted to journal some of her cute little habits and personality traits that she had at that age in order to preserve the memories.  I did so by writing around the perimeter of the elements on the page.

The rest of the page is fairly simple, it’s mostly the layout that makes the page.  This was double-sided scrapbook paper and I chose to expose the other side by folding a corner over at the top as well as cutting an entire strip across the width of the page, turning it over, and gluing it down.  You will always notice a lot of inking around the edges of both my page and many of the elements on the page, this not only adds dimension but also gives the elements a more distressed look.
