Art Journal- Dream

This is another page inside my new art journal.  The background of this page was done with watercolor oil pastels as well as spray mists.  I then went ahead and drew everything on with paint markers.  I love that the white shows up so vividly because I’ve tried so many different types of gel pens and markers but they usually end up getting clogged, or not showing up well against the background.

After experimenting with white pens for years I finally found a really great white gel pen for the thinner white lines- it’s called Signo Uniball Broad.  It’s a pigment ink pen and it seems to be working really well on different mediums.

The colors and the idea for this page was inspired by a layout done by vicky papaioannou on youtube.
