Artist Trading Cards
I created backgrounds with some of my inks, as well as with watercolor paints. I then went ahead and added other layers of stickers, scrapbook papers, rub-on’s, and drawings etc.
I created some artist trading card samples for a few classes that I will be doing next spring. I’ve never made artist trading cards before but it’s very similar to the art journaling that I do except it’s on a more miniature scale. Artist trading cards are usually 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches (about the size of playing cards or the cards that people collect).
I may end up putting some of these into my art journal because I don’t really know what to do with them otherwise. I know that there are online communities where people trade these, I’m not sure if I’ll go in that direction. Perhaps though, trading these might be a good way to get inspiration from other artists.
