Canvas- Fabric Inspired

Happy new year everyone!  I’m not the type of person to set new year’s resolutions because I never keep them and I just end up getting disappointed with myself.  However this year I am going to resolve to post at least twice a week to my blog (be it in the art or the recipes section). This is one resolution that I will work hard to keep!

I’ve been working on this canvas for quite some time now but it always felt incomplete so I kept adding more and more layers.  Here it is now, finally finished!  The design was inspired by typical patterns found on a lot of Pakistani/Indian fabrics.  I think I’ll actually try to play with some actual fabrics on my next canvas.  Let’s see how that goes.
