Art Journal- Don’t Compare Yourself

Another art journal page.  The background was done with some inks and sprays and then doodling with sharpies.  The girl was drawn with pastels, and outlined with sharpies and her dress was cut out from scrapbook paper.  This quote is a reminder to myself because I unintentionally tend to compare myself to just about anything and anyone almost automatically. Even when I finished my page I found that I was comparing myself to the girl on the page, even though she’s just a drawing.  So this is a reminder to stop, and be grateful for everything that I have.
