Zaynab
A childhood friend of mine had a sweet baby girl named Zaynab, and I wanted to make something special for her room. This little project was done on a canvas and I wanted it to somewhat resemble a baby quilt. I started off by decoupaging actual fabric bits to the canvas. I used matt Mod Podge for this because I wanted the finish to still look like it was fabric and not printed paper. I think using glossy Mod Podge would have taken the texture away from the fabrics.
I then decided to add some wood burnt letters to the canvas and I managed to squeeze her full name into the letters. I glued the letters down to the canvas and then decided to outline them with some paint markers in order to make the letters stand out a little more.
