Art Journal-Guide

Rumi again, surprise! I tried using a reverse stenciling technique that I learned.  You first put paint down onto the paper and then when its slightly dry-ish you put the stencil down and spray water on it.  The next step is to use a paper towel to lift away the sprayed areas but it didn’t work so well- I may have let the paint dry a bit too much.

I didn’t draw the image of the guide, it was cut out from an old Choose-Your-Own Adventure book that I had and I’m not really sure what it’s supposed to be.  I cut him out and colored him with watercolor paints then glued him into my journal.  The writing was done using paint pens.
