Henna on Canvas

I don’t frequently put real henna on canvas but these canvases have proven to be quite popular so I will most definitely be making some more.  The amazing thing about the real henna is that no matter how many coats of primer and paint I use on the canvas the color of the henna seems to penetrate through the layers and it shows up on the other side of the canvas.

I had made two other canvases with henna on them but I didn’t take pictures of them and now they’re gone.  I’ve got to be more careful with photographing everything that I make, it’s always been an issue for me.
