Watercolor- Blue Petals
It’s a lot of fun painting watercolors inside of a shaped frame (circular, square or triangular). Framing your images adds a lot more interest, negative space and just makes a simple painting look so much better. For this watercolor painting I decided to paint some flower petals in shades of blue and purple.
The trick here is to wait for the first layer of petals to dry before adding more layers ontop otherwise you won’t have individual petals because everything will just bleed together into one giant blob.
