Almond Stuffed Dates
This is a creative way to change up dates, Moroccan style. I LOVE dates and my favorite are the Medjool Dates, they’re soft and plump and incredibly good for your health too.

Almond Stuffed Dates
This is a creative way to change up dates, Moroccan style. I LOVE dates and my favorite are the Medjool Dates, they’re soft and plump and incredibly good for your health too.
Ingredients
- 1 lb dates
- 1 cup ground almonds
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp orange blossom water
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Make a lengthwise cut in the dates and remove the pits, set aside.
- Mix together the almonds, sugar, orange blossom water, and cinnamon to make a paste. If it's too dry, slowly add more almond blossom water.
- Roll small cylinders out of the almost paste about the same length as the dates and 1/2 of the width.
- Insert the almond paste cylinder into the cut dates and press the sides of the dates firmly around the paste.
Notes
I made the little slits in the paste for added visual effect using a fork.
