Art Journal- Insanity

The quote on this page was attributed to Albert Einstein although no one seems to be able to pinpoint when exactly he said it.  Regardless it reads:

“The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.”

This quote resonates with me because (so many times) I’ve tried doing the same thing, the exact same way, expecting a different result.  I guess, by definition, that deems me insane =)

For this page I used acrylics as well as stencils to create the background.  I then cut some scrapbook paper for the circles and added details with my black sharpie, Faber Castell markers, Ranger ink, and gel pens.

I feel like this color combination worked well with the yellow-green-and pink.  I may have to use it somewhere else in my work…perhaps on my next canvas.
