Watercolor Flowers Made Using Negative Space

This was a study of a work by CreationsCeeCee on Instagram, I really love her feed and its SO full of inspiration. This piece was done starting with splotches of watercolor all around the page and then I followed it by doodling in some flowers with a sharpie and filling around everything i drew using some basic black craft paint. I like the look of the craft paint because its matte as opposed to glossy. The last step here was adding some more doodles over the black paint with white and metallic pens.
